Your lyrics are yours. All lyrics you create using our service are 100% owned by you and you are free to use them without any restrictions from Lyric Genie. We do not claim any ownership rights to the creative content you generate on our platform.

- Audio recordings: Voice recordings you upload for lyric generation. These recordings are stored permanently as part of your song history.
- Generated content: Lyrics, song titles, style tags, and associated metadata

- Usage data: Features accessed, pages visited, time spent on the platform, and interaction patterns
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution (collected via analytics)

AI and Automated Processing
Lyric Genie uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate lyrics from your voice recordings and text prompts. When you submit a recording or chat message, it is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for processing. The AI generates lyric suggestions based on your input.
We do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you. AI is used solely for creative content generation at your direction.
Publicly Shared Lyrics
You may choose to share your lyrics publicly by toggling the share option on your profile or in the chat interface. When you share lyrics publicly:
- Your lyrics, song title, and username will be visible to anyone with the share link
- View counts may be tracked for shared lyrics
- You can unshare your lyrics at any time by toggling the share option off in your profile or chat view, which immediately removes public access
- Your email address and other personal information are never displayed on shared lyrics pages
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate Lyric Genie:
- Supabase — Database hosting, user authentication, file storage, and serverless functions. Your account data, lyrics, audio recordings, and chat messages are stored in Supabase.

- Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect essential transactional emails (e.g., password resets)
